What are the pieces of information needed to have my car towed?

For towing, we need the following information

Does my all-wheel-drive car require a flatbed two truck ?

No, all-wheel-drive cars do not require a flatbed tow truck. Most conventional tow trucks are more than capable of lifting all-wheel-drive cars off the ground and safely getting them to the mechanic.

Does the towing damage my car?

Many customers are concerned about their cars, as they should be. There is no need to worry. The towing process causes the vehicle to ride on its suspension. This will cause your vehicle to have a reasonably smooth ride as the suspensions absorb all the bumps in the road.

Are there additional charges on a weekend or a holiday?

 No. There are no extra charges. The roads are emptier on those weekends and holidays. So, we will have an easier time reaching you and towing your vehicle.

I have a car with an automatic transmission. Should it be towed with the drive wheels on the ground ?

According to the manufacturers, we can tow vehicles with automatic transmission for a limited distance under a certain speed.

My car has been lowered. Can vehicles that have been lowered be towed safely ?

Absolutely. In most cases, even cars that have been lowered can be towed. We have a special truck with a low bed for low cars. Don’t worry. We care about the safety of your vehicle. The person who arrives will assess if it can be or not before continuing. We want what’s best for our customers.

I've heard that it's better to let my insured cargo to the tow yard after an accident. Why ?

 Firstly, you don’t have to pay the tow bill. Secondly, the insurance adjuster will inspect your car, and other cars involved sooner as they don’t want to pay more storage charges. Also, why keep an ugly wreck at your house.

Do I need to be with my vehicle to have it towed?

No. Your presence is not required as long as the keys are with the vehicle, and we have all of the information required. This includes where the keys are located. You need not have to stay in your car while you wait for us to arrive.

Do tow truck drivers have special training ?

No. This is not required for light-duty tow trucks. However, our company requires drivers to have a flawless driving record and attend annual defensive driving classes.

Are tow trucks inspected for roadworthiness ?

Yes, all trucks are inspected. Since our trucks are approved to tow, our trucks must pass an inspection and a DOT inspection annually.
